New Delhi — Don Bosco Tech Society in Partnership with Ministry of Rural Development, Minority Affairs, DGeT and other ministries is implementing the skill development programme for youth. The project is PAN India and it aims to Skill 2 million youth by 2022. In the last 5 years DB Tech has trained over 2 lakhs youth and facilitated employment for more than 75% of the candidates.

DB Tech also tied up with Corporates like Accenture, ITC, Schneider Electric Foundation, Axis Bank Foundation, Godrej, Hans Foundation and others in scaling up the programme.

With NSDC’s mandate of training 500 million youth and DB Tech’s existing potential in training and the presence of infrastructure complements the vision of NSDC and DB Tech will be able to contribute to this vision. With over 300 centres and over 3,000 personnel managing these training centres, DB Tech brings in management and administrative expertise of large scale skills training programmes.

Through existing partnership with the industry we will add value to the skill development programmes through employment projections, curriculum design and ratification, guest lectures, on-the-job training, staff training and placements.

The training programme provided by DB Tech will be the answer to the development and growth hurdle of the nation which is un-employability due to lack of skills and access. DB Tech will deploy all its training centres and will interact and intervene with its mission and network partners for adding more centres to the infrastructure poo, thus ensuring maximum scale and reach to the project.

Don Bosco Skills Mission (DBSM), the master training skill development centre of Don Bosco Tech Society was inaugurated in Bangalore, Karnataka on March 19, 2015.

The newly inaugurated sprawling 75,000 sq. ft. campus of DBSM is a state-of-the-art innovation centre set up by DB Tech with the whole-hearted support of Don Bosco family. DB Tech understands that the trainers are the backbone of the organisation and the foundations in achieving the desired mission with greater quality.

Amalgamating quality with technological advancement, DBSM has been evolved as a master training centre for upscaling, upgrading and updating the technical and soft skills of trainers working across India in the common mission of ‘Skilling India’ and a target to train 2.2 million youth by 2022.

This resource development centre of DB Tech is having meeting halls, offices, conference room, auditorium, residential facilities, staff quarters and state-of-the-art labs for advanced skill development courses like Electrical, Plumbing and Air Conditioning with technical and infrastructural support from its long-standing partners like Schneider Electric, Jaguar, GREE, Taj, Accenture, Godrej and VDMA.

In coordination with Government departments, private and professional organizations, DB Tech will achieve its mission by innovating various skill training models catering to different groups of youth in various geographical locations and needs.
